All of Radarsign’s
driver feedback signs are equipped with Bluetooth communication which
allows you to operate the radar speed sign wirelessly from your laptop
without ever having to leave your vehicle.
Unlike other driver
feedback signs, the Bluetooth communication capability that Radarsign
offers does not require opening the sign or manipulating switches in
our radar speed signs models. The software runs on any Windows XP
laptop.
Additionally, the
Bluetooth connection allows you to download the data collected from the
sign. Daily information can be retrieved in less than 15 seconds!

TRAFFIC CALMING MEANS SAFETY FIRST!
Finally, an easy to operate driver feedback sign for
neighborhoods, school zones, parks, daycare areas, churches, or any
place where traffic tends to zoom beyond a safe rate of speed. The
Radarsign™ driver feedback system is designed to alert individual
speeders. Tests show over and over that many speeders WILL respond and
slow down. Typical speed reductions in average speeds are 8-18%. In
many cases speed limit compliance improves by 40-60%. (see graph on

The Model TC-500B is an easily movable sign that comes with pole
mounting plates that also lock, making the sign secure. The sign will
run for about one week, 7x24, on a single charge. At less than ½ the

SPEED DISPLAYS SOFTWARE DOCUMENTS LOWER SPEEDS
Many of our customers use the TC-500’s optional software,
STREETSMART™, to record traffic flows and speeds. The signs can record
data even when the display is off, allowing you to produce “before
& after” results from using the sign. The data collected can then
be used to determine the appropriate time to add enforcement resources
to the area.

On a full charge in temperature range of 40-100 degrees F,
the TC-500B should operate for 7 full days or 25,000 vehicles
whichever comes first. For temperature ranges of 0<40º F,

Use StreetSmart™
software to format and display the vehicle data collected from any of
our sign models. Each TC-500 radar speed sign contains a mini-SD card
that stores records on over 500,000 vehicles as they approach and pass
the sign. Bluetooth connections.
With the data
conversion tool in StreetSmart, this sign information is loaded into
Excel™ ready files, and populates the included templates with just a
few mouse clicks. Graphs and tables for a week of vehicle data are
available for your review. Standard reports include:
Number of vehicles detected per day, per hour, and per half hour.
Average vehicle speed per day, per hour, and per half hour.
Peak vehicle speeds per day, per hour, and per half hour.
50th and 85th percentile speeds per day.
Number of vehicles grouped by average MPH segments (21-25, 26-30, 31-35, etc…).
